Cold pressed organic sunflower oil or fractionated coconut oil is recommended and widely used in baby massage as it is 99.9% hypoallergenic and 100% natural.

WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES OR IS ASLEEP DURING THE SESSION?

All classes are baby led, so if you need to stop to tend to your baby’s needs please do. If your baby needs feeding, changing or just a cuddle we encourage you to follow your baby’s cues. If your baby is asleep then you can still watch the strokes being demonstrated by your instructor on the demo doll, you will also be provided with hand outs of the massage sequence as well as an opportunity to repeat the strokes in the next session.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO MASSAGE?

If your baby is awake, alert, happy and calm. Do not massage your baby if they are unwell, has a fever, upset tummy, any unusual lumps or bumps or has had an immunisation within the last 72 hours.

Classes are designed to teach parents soothing and natural techniques to relax and calm their baby. Ensure you check in regularly with your baby to make sure they are enjoying their massage.
